This is the first time I've brought from Brilliant Diamonds. What can you tell me to make me feel secure buying from you?

We have been involved in diamond jewellery for the last 20 years. Unlike most online jewellery sellers we have a retail store based in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. We are also members of the BJA (British Jewellers Association) as well as ISIS (internet shopping is safe) IDIS (internet delivery is safe) and we are also a member of the platinum guild. Is buying jewellery over the internet safe?

Buying over the internet is very safe. Increasing numbers of people in the U.K and all over the world are purchasing diamond jewellery online. We also have a very sophisticated payment system which protects any of your details entered on our site.

Why are you so much cheaper?

Due to the amount we sell we therefore can buy at a cheaper price. Instead of staying at the standard marks up we pass the savings onto you meaning you get fantastic value for money!

What is the cut grade of my diamond?

All our diamonds are good cut and above. However only round brilliant cut diamonds are graded for cut at current. There is no agreement in the international community as to what the exact parameters should be for fancy cut diamonds.

What if I pick the wrong finger size?

If you have selected the incorrect finger size we can alter most rings to your desired size. There will be a charge for us dependant on the type of ring you have. Please contact us for more details.

How long will my delivery take?

All our products have different delivery times depending on how intricate the item is. For example a diamond solitaire will take around 2 weeks. For more detailed information visit our dedicated delivery page.

How will I know when to expect it?

Once your item is ready we will contact you to arrange a delivery time. Don't worry we won't just pop it in the post without telling you. We will need to ensure that you will be there to take delivery and sign for the parcel.

Can I have it sooner than your stated delivery time?

Who are your items couriered by?

All our items are sent via royal mail special delivery

Are they insured while in transit?

All our parcels are fully insured in the rare event that something was to go wrong while it is in transit to you.

Can I have my parcel posted to a different location that isn't my billing address?

You will need to contact us to arrange this either on store@brilliant-diamonds.co.uk or 0121 638 0808 and one of our staff will talk you through how we can do this.

The postman must have come while I was asleep! What now?!

If the postman tried to deliver and couldn't get an answer from you, they will have left a collection card. Make sure to check everywhere around your letter box as they can sometimes get wedged in the most ridiculous places!

Are your items safely packaged?

All our items are dispatched in a secure jiffy bag to protect them while in transit to you. All our parcels will be plain with no distinctive markings to indicate what is inside the bag.

If I don't like my jewellery can I return it and how do I go about doing this?

In the rare event you don't like your beautiful diamond jewellery then you can return it to us hassle free. Please ensure that you fill out our returns form and include all the original documentation that was enclosed with the item. For more detail please visit our returns page.

How do I buy an item?

Add the item you would like to buy into your shopping basket. Once you have selected all the items you would like to purchase proceed to the checkout where the automated system will take your payment.

What type of cards do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit cards

The system is rejecting my payment details and I know I have the funds available in my account?

Ensure that you have entered all of your details correctly. The system will usually point out any errors you may have made. If you still can't get it to accept and the funds are available in your account please feel free to contact us on 0121 638 0808 so we can process the payment for you.

When do you add the V.A.T?

All our products are inclusive of V.A.T so you don't have to worry about adding this on. Our V.A.T number is 824525534 if you require this. Buying with Confidence.

Do you sell conflict diamonds?

At Brilliant Diamonds we do not sell conflict diamonds. All of our diamonds suppliers have to be a member of the Kimberly process which is aiming at stamping out the trade of illegal diamonds. For more information you can visit our conflict diamonds page

Are your diamonds independently certified?

All of our products are independently certified for your comfort. For more detailed information please visit our certification page.

Is all your jewellery hallmarked?

All of our jewellery is hallmarked. By law this has to be done to confirm the quality of the metal. If you would like more detailed information on this feel free to take a look at our hallmarking page.

How long do you take to respond to emails?

We Endeavour to respond to any emails the same day. In the event that we are experiencing a large amount of emails the maximum we will take to respond is 1-2 working days. If your query is particularly urgent then don't hesitate to call us on 0121 638 0808.
